I hurt.
I hurt everywhere.
I woke up this morning and felt like I had fallen down the stairs in my sleep. Every single muscle was sore and all I wanted to do was go back to sleep.
So what did I do? I got up. And I got busy.
Shoulders and Arms today wasn't that bad. I need to go up in weight on some of the exercises but I think for week one and breaking down the muscles to make room for new ones it was ok.
I can't tell if I did better on the Ab Ripper or not. I can do the first 4-5 exercises and then my abs hurt and I'm exhausted. I think if I can ever make it through the entire Ab Ripper it'll be a huge milestone. Right up there with my first set of 3 pull-ups. In that category of "stuff I never see myself being able to do".
I can't extend my elbows much past 90 degrees without being in agony. But it can only go up from here eventually.
My buddy Jeremie is starting P90x with me this round. He's "done" it before, and I only put it in quotes because he picked and chose what he wanted to do and substituted the cardio discs for running. So he did more like P60x or something. Anyways he decided to double up on the discs to catch up to where I am since he missed Monday. I haven't talked to him today, but from the looks of his facebook status I think he's thinking that was a less than ideal idea today.
The wife did P90x Yoga today instead of her normal Yoga. She said it was ridiculously challenging. So I've got that to look forward to.
Anyways, 3 down, 87 to go. Gonna press play again tomorrow.
